The Archdiocesan Shrine of Santo Niño de Cebu stands on the grounds of St Anthony of Padua Parish in Agassiz and was built by the Filipino community as a gift to the Archdiocese of Vancouver to mark 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines. Its Filipino rector holds a yearly anniversary novena and Mass each August, and the shrine is open daily for personal prayer.
