Our Mission

Make Filipino local business easier to find everywhere.

There are over 10 million Filipinos living outside the Philippines. Wherever they settle, they build businesses — restaurants, shops, clinics, services — that serve both the local community and the wider public. But these businesses are hard to discover in mainstream directories that don’t capture the cultural context that makes them relevant.

Kislap.com exists to change that. We are building the definitive global directory of Filipino-owned businesses, starting with the communities we know best.

About Kislap

Four pillars

Visibility

Filipino-owned businesses are often invisible in mainstream directories. We make them discoverable, searchable, and prominent.

Trust

Every listing is verified and community-endorsed. Reviews, contact details, and familiar categories build confidence for both business owners and customers.

Connection

A Filipino restaurant in Auckland should be as easy to find as one in Manila. We bridge geography with technology.

Scale

New Zealand is our proving ground. The platform is structured for country-by-country rollout — same experience, local context.
