FCCH honours Filipino executives and entrepreneurs of the year at Auckland gala

The Filipino Chamber of Commerce and Hospitality celebrated outstanding Filipino business leaders at its 2026 awards night, recognising executives, entrepreneurs, and young achievers shaping New Zealand's business landscape.

The Filipino Chamber of Commerce and Hospitality (FCCH) hosted its annual awards gala in Auckland, honouring Filipino executives and entrepreneurs who have made significant contributions to New Zealand's business community.

The 2026 FCCH Filipino Executive and Entrepreneurs of the Year awards recognised leaders across hospitality, retail, professional services, and trades. Among the honourees was the 2026 Young Filipino Executive of the Year, a rising leader from the Evolve Fellows Cohort who has championed cross-cultural business development.

The evening featured inspiring stories from each awardee, highlighting the resilience and ambition of Filipino business owners who started with humble beginnings and built thriving enterprises. From a catering business that grew into a multi-location restaurant group, to a cleaning service that now employs over 50 staff across Auckland, the stories reflected the breadth of Filipino entrepreneurship in New Zealand.

The FCCH also celebrated graduates of its Evolve Fellows programme, a business accelerator designed to equip Filipino operators with governance, financial literacy, and leadership skills. The 2026 cohort included graduates from industries spanning food and beverage, construction, health and beauty, and digital services.

The event was emceed by community leaders and attended by representatives from the Philippine Embassy, local councils, and business support organisations across New Zealand.
