GCash and Enjaz waive remittance fees for Filipinos in Saudi Arabia through November

By Kislap Editorial ·

From 1 to 30 November 2026, Filipinos in Saudi Arabia can send money to GCash accounts in the Philippines with zero transfer fees via Enjaz Pay and get Bills Pay and Buy Load service fees back as cashback, GCash and GIZGUIDE said.

GCash and Enjaz Remittance are offering fee-free services for Overseas Filipinos in Saudi Arabia from November 1 to 30, 2026, in response to the current situation in Saudi Arabia, GIZGUIDE reported on 5 November.

Under the arrangement, Overseas Filipinos can send money to any GCash number in the Philippines with zero transfer fees (0 SAR) using Enjaz Pay. Overseas Filipinos based in Saudi Arabia can also get zero service fees on bill payments and load purchases made through GCash, with the fees refunded as cashback.

How the cashback works

GCash’s promo mechanics, posted on 3 November, say the programme is open to all Fully Verified GCash users (Overseas and Local accounts) currently located and transacting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The standard service fees are deducted at the point of transaction and the full fee amount is then credited back to the user’s GCash wallet as Cash Back.

The cashback covers Buy Load, including load for Philippine roaming SIMs, Philippine networks and international networks, and Pay Bills for Philippine-based billers such as utilities, government dues and telcos. It applies only to the service fee and not the principal amount, and standard wallet limits and transaction caps still apply.

GCash says users should turn on their device’s Geo-location (GPS) before logging in and transacting so it can verify eligibility. If location sharing is disabled, GCash says it may be unable to validate the transaction for the automated cashback.

Users will receive a notification in the GCash app once the cashback is credited. For uncredited cashback or transaction issues, GCash points users to its Help Center at help.gcash.com or a ticket via the app.

Why it matters

Iloilo Metropolitan Times, carrying the GCash release, said Enjaz Remittance and GCash are working together to help ease the financial burden on Filipinos in Saudi Arabia and help them stay connected with their families in the Philippines. Eligible recipients can receive the funds directly in their GCash wallets without visiting physical remittance centers.

“Every peso an overseas Filipino saves on remittance fees is another peso that reaches the people they work so hard for,” said Jonathan Que, General Manager of GCash International, in the release.
