Jollibee marks 10 years in Canada with holiday store lightings, merch and parade float

By Kislap Editorial ·

Jollibee is closing its 10th-anniversary countdown in Canada with a Canada-exclusive merch collection, Rewards deals, holiday light installations at four flagship restaurants, a Make-A-Wish Canada cheque presentation and a float in Toronto's Original Santa Claus Parade.

Jollibee, the Philippine fast-food brand, is entering what it calls the final chapter of its 10-week countdown to mark 10 years in Canada. A corrected release issued on 27 October lines up a Canada-exclusive merch collection, a run of Jollibee Rewards deals, holiday light installations at four flagship restaurants and a float in Toronto's Original Santa Claus Parade.

The brand opened its first Canadian location in Winnipeg in December 2016. The company says it has since grown from a single storefront to 28 corporate-owned locations across five provinces.

The final countdown

The last four "drops" of the anniversary campaign are:

Drop 4 (Oct. 26 to Nov. 8): Rewards members who spend $30 and add any Honey Garlic Fried Chicken item get $10 off Drop 3 (launches Nov. 2): a limited-edition Canadian merch collection on the Jolly Merch Shop, shipping within Canada, plus early online access to a Jollibee mascot bag charm Drop 2 (Nov. 9): a buy-one-get-one Original or Spicy Chicken Sandwich offer for Rewards members on National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day Drop 1 (Nov. 23 to 27): a 10-piece Jolly Crispy Chicken Bucket for $35

Holiday lights from coast to coast

From November 20, 2026, through January 8, 2027, Jollibee is transforming four flagship restaurants with holiday light installations: Jollibee Scarborough in Ontario, Jollibee Ellice in Winnipeg, Jollibee West Edmonton in Alberta and Jollibee Granville in Vancouver.

On the evening of Friday, November 20, the Scarborough restaurant is scheduled to host a lighting event with a ceremonial cheque presentation to Make-A-Wish Canada, marking the brand's "Buckets of Wishes" campaign. The same evening, the Ellice, West Edmonton and Granville locations will hold public holiday countdowns with live Christmas caroling, store lightings and anniversary giveaways for the first 100 customers.

"Reaching 10 years in Canada is a monumental milestone, and this final stretch of our countdown reflects our overwhelming gratitude to the guests who have made Jollibee part of their family traditions," said Beth Dela Cruz, President of Jollibee North America.

On Sunday, November 22, Jollibee will join the Original Santa Claus Parade in Toronto with a holiday float starring its mascot, and run two activation booths at Christie Pits Park and Sankofa Square with menu samplings and loyalty giveaways.

The anniversary comes as the company pushes franchising in Canada. In September, insauga reported that Jollibee plans to open 26 new Canadian restaurants: a multi-unit agreement signed in July 2026 for 16 new restaurants in British Columbia over five years, on top of an agreement signed in June for 10 new stores in Edmonton. Jollibee Group's Richard Shin said Canada "continues to be an attractive growth market for Jollibee."
