Filipino R&B singer Dionela is taking "The Promise Tour" to Japan, with concerts scheduled in Tokyo on 27 October and Osaka on 29 October. The Philippine Embassy in Japan described both concerts as sold out.

Ahead of the Tokyo date, the embassy, represented by Deputy Chief of Mission Christian L. De Jesus, welcomed the tour's special guest performers Rangel, John Roa and FYNE for a courtesy call on 26 October.

Speaking on behalf of Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene J. Garcia-Albano, embassy officials underscored the people-to-people ties between the Philippines and Japan. They thanked the artists for promoting cultural exchange through music during the 70th Anniversary of Philippines-Japan Friendship this year.

The Tokyo and Osaka shows

The Tokyo concert is listed at UNIT in Shibuya, whose event page bills it as Dionela's first Japan tour and marks tickets as sold out. Doors are listed for 18:30, with the show starting at 19:00.
