Singapore's Radar Tyres signs multi-year deal as Official Partner of Manny Pacquiao's MPBL

By Kislap Editorial ·

Singapore-headquartered Radar Tyres has become Official Partner and exclusive tyre sponsor of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League founded by Manny Pacquiao, starting with the Season 8 playoffs and running into Season 9.

Singapore-headquartered Radar Tyres has signed a multi-year deal to become Official Partner of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), the Philippine league founded by eight-division boxing world champion Manny Pacquiao. The company announced the partnership in Singapore on 26 October, saying the agreement was signed in General Santos City at Pacquiao's residence.

Radar Tyres is the flagship brand of Omni United, which was founded and is headquartered in Singapore, and the brand is sold in more than 80 countries. The MPBL deal is its second major international sports partnership of 2026, after its appointment as Global Partner of Cricket South Africa.

What the deal covers

As Official Partner and exclusive tyre sponsor, Radar will have full category exclusivity, with brand visibility across broadcast, livestream, digital and on-court assets. The partnership begins with the remainder of the MPBL Season 8 Playoffs and Finals and continues into Season 9, and 28 teams are expected to play around 400 games in the 2027 season, Top Gear Philippines reported.

The company said the Philippines has been one of its key Asia-Pacific markets for over 17 years. Pacquiao founded the MPBL in 2018 to give young Filipinos a positive path through sport, and the league broadcasts its games on free-to-air television while giving homegrown athletes from cities and provinces a national platform and a chance to earn a livelihood through basketball.

"For over 17 years, Filipino drivers and dealers have welcomed our brand, and this partnership is our way of coming closer to them and the communities they call home."

That was GS Sareen, President and CEO of Omni United, who said the Philippines holds a special place in the company's heart. Pacquiao said the partners share a common mission to support Filipino talent, strengthen communities and give athletes the opportunity to chase their dreams, adding: "Because when we invest in sports, we invest in the future of our Filipino youth."
