Thousands of tickets sold for Juan Musika Festival OPM concert in Dubai on 1 December
Organisers say thousands of fans have bought tickets to the Juan Musika Festival, which brings Gloc-9, Janine Berdin, December Avenue, Klarisse de Guzman and Maymay Entrata to the Dubai World Trade Centre on 1 December.
Thousands of tickets have already been sold for the Juan Musika Festival, an OPM concert set for the Dubai World Trade Centre on 1 December, organisers told The Global Filipino Magazine (TGFM) on 2 November.
According to TGFM, organisers said tickets are selling quickly and they expect demand to keep building as the date gets closer. Ticket sales followed a pre-registration drive that drew thousands of sign-ups, giving early registrants first access to seats.
Who is performing
Billboard Philippines reported that the festival, staged by Fruition Events, will bring different genres and generations of OPM to one stage:
- Gloc-9, rapper
- Janine Berdin, alternative/pop singer-songwriter
- December Avenue, pop-rock band
- Klarisse de Guzman, R&B singer
- Maymay Entrata, pop singer
TGFM said fans have been sharing greeting videos from the artists across social media since the lineup was completed in late October, with each post drawing heavy engagement from Filipinos across the UAE.
Date and tickets
The concert is scheduled for Tuesday, 1 December, at 6 pm, according to Visit Dubai and Billboard Philippines. Tickets start at AED 179 and are available at juanmusika.ae, and TGFM said Tabby instalment payments are accepted. Billboard Philippines listed General Admission, Golden Circle and Fanpit among the ticket tiers.
Held just weeks before Christmas, the festival is aimed at the large Filipino community in the UAE, many of whom will spend the holidays away from their families back home, TGFM reported. Billboard Philippines noted it comes ahead of other Filipino-centered shows at the same venue in December, including Cup of Joe and Bamboo’s ‘One Stage’ Concert on December 11 and the SexBomb Girls’ ‘Get Get Aw!’ Christmas Party on December 19.
